Introduction

 

  • The year is 2043.

 

  • The anti-imperial wars, waged by many of the smaller nation states against the Sino-Russian-American “Hegemonic Compact”, is thankfully behind us.

 

  • The world now comprises 6 Global States and two independant Inter-Galactic regions, all living side-by-side in peace, freedom and prosperity.

 

  • Gone are the onerous and uncivilised demands of “injestion”, “employment”, “democracy”, “education”, “reproduction”, “families”, “ageing” and “death”.

 

  • Gone are the neurological and biological defects that caused so much distress to our ancestors such as “disease”, “coitus”, “gestation and biological births”, “depression”, “self-expression”, “opinion” and “activism”.

 

  • Humans have mastered both time and pleasure.

 

  • We now live for eternity, and spend every minute of our days exchanging joyful BMail thoughts with our defined network, or otherwise in euphoric splendor, entertained by the endless supply of Kefalognostic Mindblasts provided to us by our loving Government protectors.

 

  • In Australasia, comprising the long forgotten nation states of Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Fiji, the Philippines and Papua New Guinea, we are now governed by one Coalition government led by our glorified Leader, Psefti Anthropos, and selected on merit by the Australian Intelliscan Bureau, which has mastered the true meaning of Artificial Intelligence for the benefit of all Biological Humans.

 

  • For the minority of Legacy Multi-Lifers who are hell-bent on causing distress in our perfect society, we are fortunate in the Skeptic-Cleansing policies of government, and we must all remember that infinite life comes with an obligation. Breach that obligation at the risk of attrition, even if you are a privildged original Multi-Lifer.

 

  • We have travelled so far in such a short distance, from the ravages of our biological proclivities in the 2030s, to the panacea of eternal life in 2040 until infinity.

Geo-Politics

  • Global States: The world has congregated into 6 Global States, typically involving the unification of previous nation states, with common geographical and political under-pinnings.
  • Historians trace the move towards self-aligned Global state alliances as a result of the short-lived Sino-Russian-American “Hegemonic Compact”, which resulted in the anti-imperial wars of the 2030s, which only ended when all nations were given a choice as to which Global state they could join.

Life Extension and Population Control

  • Pravatars (Proprietary Biological Avatars): Laws have been in place for over 5 years now that protect a Multi-Lifers body capsule (or the re-generated body capsule) as biological property owned by the original memory creator, although this legislation has had its problems with the recent flurry of legal cases surrounding biological provenance, such as Smith 1 v Smith 2, being only the tip of the ice-berg.
  • The Beijing Accord, an InterNational Convention (excludes the InterGalactic Lunar and Martian Colonies) signed by all 6 Global States, including Australasia, that in the light of the entrenchment of BioGeneration technologies, and the now possibility of Infinite Life spans, releases only a set number of New Births per given period.
  • This convention generally allows each approved Multi-lifer (Mifer) the ability to procreate a New Lifer (Nifer) once every 250 years, which must be done via a Progenitor process (no Direct Lineage allowed except for those with Government exemptions), and must use a Government approved Gestation Pod.
  • The number of New Births allowed per year is based on the estimated government-sanctioned attrition rates of Multi-Lifers, whereby 1% of Mifers per year can be permanently extinguished based on what is deemed politically-unsavoury thoughts, to be monitored by the Australasian IntelliScan Bureau.

 

  • The recent Infinite Biogeneration Preservation amendment passed by Parliament makes an exemption to Infinite Life based on the above qualification, although some visceral but otherwise denied concerns have been swirling around the biosphere of late with fears that this is another shrouded attempt by the Brown’s led coalition at Skeptic Cleansing.
  • Gestation Pods – The womb will be outlawed as a means to deliver new births, deemed in equal parts a tool of entrenched gender oppression, and a backdoor avenue to bypass Australasia’s new Population control laws – by way of Australasia being a co-signatory of the Beijing Accord.
  • PolyGenitor – A prospective parent must now choose from a combination of at least 50 government approved parentage genetic material widgets, in a process that is designed to eliminate inherited diseases and other government-banned features from Nifers. Critics however are accusing the disease-clause provisions as an undercover means to bypass the strict genome government directives, and instead produce superior designer babies that threaten the privilege of Mifers.
  • SoloGenitor/HeteroGenitor/HomoGenitor Parents: The procreation of a Nifer from 1 parent’s genetic material, or otherwise 2 parents, whether they be Same Gender, Opposite Gender or Blended Gender, was made illegal starting 1st January, 2040. New-Lifers can now only be procreated according to the strict rules provided for in the PolyGenitor Act, 2038, which requires parentage from at least 50 pre-approved parental genetic widgets.
  • Bio-regeneration/Biogeneration: The process whereby a Mifer has a new biological capsule created for them, based on their own proprietary DNA material, with the only changes being Government-approved disease markers. Bio-Regeneration is typically pre-dated by a Memory-Download, that preserves all brain markers such as Memories, Opinions and Proclivities, and re-installs them in a suitably matured Regenerated Body Capsule, which by law must be created in a Gestation Pod and under strict supervision to avoid genetic enhancement.
  • Limits on Bio-regeneration/Biogeneration: Calls have been quashed to limit regeneration to only 5 life spans, a provision championed by the Religious Democrats, but ultimately out-voted by the Browns-led coalition (of the Reds and the Greens) who demanded that Infinity provisions get entrenched into law.
  • “From our Birth to Infinity, our Life will always be Free” – This has resulted in the now famous Browns chant that had become an Intelli-Viral sensation with over 1 billion Intelli-Plays, and surprisingly almost 500 million Intelli-Replays from Mifers across the globe and the Inter-Stellar colonies. The Browns have successfully argued that sustainability also included the preservation of human life for infinity, while others have claimed that the Browns have betrayed their traditional constituents by ensuring that the Earth’s carbon footprint created by human’s will now be entrenched into infinity.
  • Following the success of quashing the limits on life-span, the Browns are now forging ahead with their next target, being the toughening up of the designer-baby restriction legislation.
  • The Browns fear that genetically superior Nifers are being born under the guise of having received genetic modifications to avoid inherited diseases, but instead this is used to bypass designer baby laws.
  • The Browns fear that new superior Nifers will eventually usurp the legally-entrenched Privilege of the Mifers. According to a recent BMail (Brain Email) sent to all Australasian Mifers, the Browns claim that they will never let the hard-earned Privilege of the Mifers be usurped by anyone, especially not Nifers, who have been labelled a “basket of New-Lifer deplorables”.
  • Meanwhile, the Browns Leader, Psefti Anthropos, refuses to be seen in real-life, while suspicions continue that they are AI generated. Anthropos themselves calls such rumours another example of the rampant TechnoMisos that has beset society of late, fuelled in no small part by the Religious Democrats. Anthropos has stated repeatedly that they should be judged not by their biological heritage, but by their ideology.

 

Memory Backup/Intelli-Uploads/Memory Transfer

  • Memory Backups: AppleSoft’s BrainDrive has been the latest competitor to jump into what has been an entrenched duopoly for at least a decade. Until now the market was roughly shared between GoogleAmazon’s BrainDaze and the NVIDIamd’s MemCapture.
  • Memory back-ups have been hailed as a more accurate way of preserving memories and learnings as opposed to the Brain Download at the end of a Biological capsule’s life, typically occurring at 70 biological years.

  • The IntelliNet – the Brain Internet – Laptops, PCs and mobile phones will be so yesterday. All you will need is a Brain SIM implant (BRIM) and you are connected to the world, 86400 seconds per day.

 

  • Bracking – Brain Hacking – once your brain is connected to the IntelliNet, so will be the unrelenting attempts to manipulate your brain

 

  • BRAM – you will be flooded with Brain Spam, requiring continually updated Brain Anti-Virus updates, often costing a hefty amount due to the expense of staying ahead of the ever evolving IntelliCrime networks, who have been almost impossible to track through their sophisticated use of BrainVPNs.

 

  • TeleKens or TKs – based on the word Telekenis and represents thought-remote control commands. Changing A/C settings, locking doors, opening windows, setting your auto-drive destination? You just TeleKens it!

  • The recent controversy of people receiving the wrong memory installations aside, data released by the Australasian IntelliScan Bureau have indicated that almost 90% of participants are cured of archaic neurological conditions such as depression or anxiety.

A controversial enhancement of late have been Bressages, short for Brain Multi-Media messages, comprising visual imprints, memory mirrors, mind scents, but complaints have raged lately from people perceiving unintended but nonetheless visceral insults, to otherwise alleged nefarious thoughts of the originator making its way to the public. These concerns do not even cover the area of Brain Hacking, which I will cover in more detail in another Brain-Message

 

Legacy terms

     

    • AEMs – Archaic Encryption Methods, such as writing, typing or vocal dictation

     

    • Vocal Atrophy Syndrome – a new medical condition characterised by Early-onset Dysphagia and other throat conditions. Only effects New-Lifers who have no “historical memory” of archaic throat practices such as “food” ingestion or vocalisation.
